Myleene Klass “thrilled” to judge £25k SME Award

Is your business outstanding? If so, you should be in the running for the Daily Telegraph’s SME of the Year Award, which includes media coverage, £25,000 worth of advertising space and a stand at this year’s Festival of Business.

The award is open to businesses with between one and 200 employees and will be judged by representatives from FedEx, the Festival of Business and singer-turned-entrepreneur Mylenne Klass.

There are just a few weeks left to enter the competition, which closes on 30th September. To apply, entrants should go to the event website and explain in 200 words or less why their business is outstanding.

I’m thrilled to be a judge on the Telegraph Festival of Business SME of the Year competition. Having launched several businesses myself, I understand both what hard work it is getting a new venture off the ground, but also just how rewarding it can be making a success of it,” said Klass.

All those long hours in endless meetings do pay off in the end. I’m looking forward to meeting some of the best and most exciting SMEs in the country and finding out just how they’ve been turning their dreams of running a business into reality. These are the businesses and young entrepreneurs driving the economy forwards — and behind every one of them are individuals with their own empowering stories. It’s going to be very exciting hearing those stories — I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
