12 companies, including JustEat and Skyscanner, graduated from Tech City’s Future Fifty programme today, opening up the chance for a new generation of innovators to benefit from the project.
The Future Fifty identifies the fastest growing and most promising companies in the UK and gives them access to an advisory panel of business experts and investors. These advisors are drawn from some of the country’s preeminent firms and organisations, including KPMG, EY and Grant Thornton.
Support offered to companies as part of their membership in the programme including networking opportunities, practical assistance on issues including infrastructure and immigration, introductions to government services and personnel, and PR.
The new additions, which were selected by a panel of 17 judges, are drawn from the fintech, adtech, edtech and ecommerce sectors. They include JustGiving, Adzuna, TransferWise, Rockabox and GoCardless.
Philipp Stoeckl, director of the Tech City UK Future Fifty programme, said: “The new companies selected for the Future Fifty programme represent some of the nation’s most exciting and innovative digital businesses. The Future Fifty team looks forward to working closely with these new companies to help them reach the next stage of their growth journey. We also wish to congratulate the graduating companies who collectively have achieved outstanding and inspirational milestones.”
