Microbusinesses in Fareham can soon benefit from expert advice and support during free monthly workshops, with the local council working in partnership with a small business enterprise firm.
The council is set to hold two monthly events that will include informative talks and support sessions for SME owners around the Fareham area.
The events represent a joint venture between the local council and Enterprise First, a non-profit organisation that aims to support small business owners around the country.
‘‘By providing these events and offering free one-to-one sessions, we will assist businesses to survive and grow in the town,’’ explained Julie Easterbrook, Enterprise First business adviser.
The event follows on from the success of ‘‘Fareham First for Business’’, a business event that was held in March that offered business training and advice to microbusinesses.
‘‘In addition, we will stimulate local networking, encouraging opportunities and collaborations amongst Fareham business people,’’ continued Easterbrook.
Fareham council are determined to help its small businesses, with executive council leader Seán Woodward stating that the event is ‘‘beneficial to the entrepreneurial minds of Fareham. Enterprise First has a track record of offering events and support that will benefit those who are either thinking of setting up their own company or who have recently done so.’’
The sessions will begin on 7th July and will take place between 5.30 and 7.30pm. If you want to register for the event, click here.
