Small business owners and entrepreneurs will be able to attend free business workshops put together by Fareham council.
The event has been called ‘Fareham First for Business’ and will take place on Monday 3rd August at Ferneham Hall, in Fareham between 6 and 7.30pm
The event represents a continuation of a joint venture between the local council and Enterprise First, a non-profit organisation that aims to support small business owners around the country.
The council is set to hold two monthly events that will include informative talks and support sessions for SME owners around the Fareham area.
This event is the second one to be held in July, and will feature Robert Briggs, an expert on business compliance/trading standards and Suzii Fido, offering guidance on internet marketing and Google.
‘‘These sessions provide a real opportunity for business owners to gain valuable knowledge for free, and possibly build new links by networking with other business owners. I’d urge people to put aside some time to go along if they can,’’ commented Fareham Council leader Sean Woodward.
