Brexit woes unfounded for start-ups, survey suggests

Brexit appears to have had minimal effect on the health of new start-ups and SME growth, according to a new survey.

Conducted by UK Business Directory MySheriff.co.uk, using data gleaned from its free advertising site, the sector had proven to be “exceptionally resilient”, according to Max Wallace, managing director of MySheriff.co.uk.

Wallace commented: “The fall of 10-15% of UK Sterling was of course worrying but we under estimate the ability for our entrepreneurs to adapt in this changing environment.

Leaving the EU was never going to be easy and I’m sure there’s still some nerves out there, that being said our SME sector is proving to be exceptionally resilient.”
